Where it Comes From

Ross Patterson is a talented progressive metal musician known for his innovative sound and dynamic compositions. From an early age, he discovered a deep passion for creating music and blending intricate melodies with powerful rhythms. Inspired by a range of musical influences, Ross began crafting unique tracks that resonate with fans. His dedication to the art of music, and the art of creation, has established him as a rising star in the progressive metal scene.

The Collective

But the Ross Patterson Music project is something much bigger than that. Welcome to the realm of "Ross Patterson Digital Media," a captivating concept combining music, art, and digital content creation that intertwines dark undertones and progressive discovery. Born from the desire to create something unique: this unique project explores the depths of human emotion through tantalizing melodies and striking visuals, inviting audiences to journey beyond the ordinary. Each creation is a testament to the beauty found in creativity, blending ethereal soundscapes with intricate artwork that sparks curiosity and curious introspection. The Solo Project

Ross Patterson music is a solo project. Written, recorded, mixed, and produced all by one person. Every instrument is written and recorded all by Ross. However, bringing on other artists is one of the core tenants of this journey. From working with major production studios, independent studio owners, dedicated musicians, and both video and photographic artists, Ross brings not only his work to life, but integrates and embraces the artistic hearts of a collective, within each element. Each song will have appropriate accreditation's for parts played and benefits gained. Whether it's retracking drums in a professional studio, to creating unique photography, and visual media clips, Ross integrates the artistic values of all who beckon the call to arms.

The History

From an early age, Ross Patterson discovered a passion for creativity. From art lessons, to guitar lessons, and video production courses; the desire to create was often an addictive compulsion... By the the age of 16, he had played in several local bands.... By the age of 18 he attended a college for the recording arts. With a degree in digital audio production, he also discovered a love for the arts and sciences themselves. He began working in several production studios, learning from industry professionals and creative artists from across the globe. After years of composing music, learning bass, learning piano, and even programming sick metal drum beats... Ross isn't just a guitar player anymore....
